What is the minimum Mesh Installation?
Mesh Works is a software solution that is ultimately flexible. We offer very basic solutions, that can be used in small to medium sized enterprises. These are offered in both Single or Double Screen Node Configurations. Should you decide that you have the capacity for more screens to be installed, the Mesh Works system is easily expandable.

What are Mesh Modules?
Mesh Modules are the small programs that are installed alongside the Admin Module. Each of these small programs has a unique feature that allows for your Mesh Work to become more responsive to your communication needs. Here is the full list of Mesh Modules.

What do I need to run Mesh?
Mesh will run on any late model PC, running running a fully up to date version of Windows 2000 or Windows XP Pro (SP2). Some options and configurations may require additional or upgraded video RAM or video cards. The best way to find out is to discuss your requirements with our sales staff and design team. Contact us.

Can I install it myself?
You are very welcome to install the Mesh hardware and software yourself. But we will always be available to offer supporting documentation and provide a run through of the system that you have chosen. For best results in tailored Mesh solutions, our team of experienced technicians are available to assist you in installation or take care of the complete install.

I have a retail space full of screens, is Mesh for me?
Absolutely. Regardless of how you might have run video or other Marketing material before finding out about Mesh, after an initial design consultation, software can be installed on almost any network. Mesh will allow you to distribute tailored and dynamic content that enables response to established sales or communications cycles and events.

We already have a network installed in our office, can we use that?
Mesh was designed with and operates on standard Ethernet and wireless communications protocols. As a result, we can hook up your Mesh work into any existing network. Furthermore, Mesh uses so little bandwidth, your network will hardly know it's there.

What kind of screens do I need to run Mesh?
Anything! As long as the hardware configuration is setup correctly you can run any kind of screen, from CRT to video projection, Plasma to LCD panels, from touch screen to HD video. Mesh Works covers all industry standard aspect ratios.

What tasks can be automated using the Mesh network?
The Mesh Module Scheduler can co-ordinate a wide variety of events. A message can be authored in advance and the exact date and time entered for its time of display. Specific screens where that message or content should be displayed can also be configured in advance. If you have the Remote Control Module installed, these events can also be committed to multiple installations from a central location via an internet connection. ‘Scheduler’ retains the familair look and feel of a Microsoft Outlook style calendar with a wizard based interface that makes short work of scheduling your content.

Do I need to hire another agency to create screen content or animations?
As part of the relationship with Crab Creative, a wide variety of passive and interactive content can be designed to suit your marketing and communications needs. For a more cost effective option, a client may wish to choose the Flexible Templates Module. This allows a wide range of aesthetic options to be pre-configured. All that remains to be done is to enter the text of a particular event.

How Much does it cost?
As Mesh Works was designed to run on off-the-shelf hardware you will find a Mesh installation to be priced very competitively. A custom built Mesh Works package will vary in price depending on your specific communications needs. It is possible to pick and choose a Mesh Works package and match it with an appropritate selection of modules to ensure that you get the right system at the right price.
